This guide provides an optional, temporary solution to enable certain Maxymo functions on Uber (e.g., going online and auto-decline). Please note:
- This is for advanced users only.
- Support article for installing ADB can be found here.
- Do not contact Tasker support for help integrating with Maxymo—they will not assist with this setup.
- For assistance, consider reaching out to other users in the Maxymo Discord community.
Important Notes
- Tasker is required for both Termux and PC/Mac setups, it is also a one time cost paid app and must be purchased separately. This cost is not related to Maxymo.
- You will need a computer (PC or Mac) with ADB installed or use the Termux APK.
Tasker Setup Instructions
1. Purchase and Install Tasker
- Download Tasker from the Google Play Store:
Tasker on Google Play.
2. Enable External Access in Tasker
- Open Tasker.
- Go to Preferences > Misc.
- Enable Allow External Access.
3. Import the Required Task
- Import the
tap_locationtask into Tasker (or manually add):
Import Tap Location Task. - Import the
uber_overlay_permissiontask into Tasker (or manually add):
Overlay Assist Task. - When prompted, select Yes on the Import Data popup.
- Task edit for `tap_location` should look like image below
Setup Instructions (PC or Mac)
Enable ADB (Android Debug Bridge) on Your Device
Note: You will need to perform this step every time you restart your Android device.
- Connect your Android device to your computer using a USB cable.
- Open a terminal or command prompt on your computer and enter:
- Refer to Maxymo Setup Instructions below to test.
Using Termux (If you don't use a PC or Mac)
1. Download, install and setup Termux apk
Note: You should only have to do this step once unless you reset your phone or uninstall termux
- Download and install Termux apk
- To install adb on your device type the following on the command line:
Maxymo Setup Instructions
1. Enable tasker commands in Maxymo
- Open Maxymo sidebar menu and tap settings then advanced options
- Find "Enable Tasker Commands" and turn it on (you will also need to set touch locations for auto decline)
2. Setup touch locations
- Make sure to setup Maxymo touch locations in on the advanced screen for auto-accept & auto-decline to work properly.
- Place each # circle in the proper locations (1 is for auto-accept and 2-7 are for auto-decline locations) (it is best to screenshot a few offers to get all the touch locations in the correct spot)
- After you setup each of the locations, tap the X to save the locations and close out the instruction menu.
7. Test Maxymo Functionality
- On the Maxymo main screen attempt to go online (make sure Uber is enabled).
- A dialog may appear on your Android device, prompting you to authorize the connection.
- Check Always allow from this computer.
- Tap Allow to confirm.

- If Uber successfully goes online, then you have setup tasker with Maxymo correctly.
