This guide provides an optional, temporary solution to enable certain Maxymo functions on Uber (e.g., going online and auto-decline). Please note:
- This is for advanced users only.
- No support will be provided for installing ADB or Tasker setup.
- Do not contact Tasker support for help integrating with Maxymo—they will not assist with this setup.
- For assistance, consider reaching out to other users in the Maxymo Discord community.
Important Notes
- Tasker is a paid app and must be purchased separately. This cost is not related to Maxymo.
- You will need a computer (PC or Mac) with ADB installed.
Setup Instructions
1. Purchase and Install Tasker
- Download Tasker from the Google Play Store:
Tasker on Google Play.
2. Enable External Access in Tasker
- Open Tasker.
- Go to Preferences > Misc.
- Enable Allow External Access.
3. Import the Required Task
- Import the
tap_location
task into Tasker (or manually add):
Import Tap Location Task. - When prompted, select Yes on the Import Data popup.
- Task edit for `tap_location` should look like image below
4. Enable ADB (Android Debug Bridge) on Your Device
- Connect your Android device to your computer using a USB cable.
- Open a terminal or command prompt on your computer and enter:
- Note: You will need to perform this step every time you restart your Android device.
5. Configure Tasker for ADB Wi-Fi Access
- In Tasker, use the ADB Wi-Fi action with the following command:
- A dialog will appear on your Android device, prompting you to authorize the connection.
- Check Always allow from this computer.
- Tap Allow to confirm.

6. Test Maxymo Functionality
- Open Maxymo and attempt to go online with Uber.
- If Uber successfully goes online, then you have setup tasker with Maxymo correctly.
